Aesthetics

As a design-driven company, Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. It's evident in the precise positioning of its quilting, the selection of leather from by-products of cattle, the wood that comes from sustainably managed forests and the creative patterns on its levers. A car like the Continental GT W12 beckons as you walk up to it, displaying its sculptural beauty and power with carefully selected lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever created. The rear tonneau of Continental GT, for example, featured the largest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after automotive brand in the world due to its distinctive design and workmanship. The company continues pushing boundaries with the latest technologies and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof and a crafted Apple iPad docking station.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 a century after it was founded. The marque, now owned by Volkswagen alone following years of tense relations with BMW and BMW, had planned a number of special launches and events to celebrate this historic occasion. Prior to the pandemic plan taking the spotlight, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to commemorate this historic occasion.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to essentially design their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images called "mood stations" and pick a set of images ranging from scenic landscapes to sporting events that will inspire them. Every time a choice is made, the pattern that emerges is the model preference for color, style and design for the personalized Bentley.

The guests receive the keys in a case designed by hand that contains the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can be fitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the path of the door's opening. They are adorned with the owner's logo or name as they approach the car.

Bentley claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and put together the typical Mulsanne. The refusal to embrace modern technology is the main factor to this time-consuming task. Instead of using a machine to space the perfectly matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. And rather than using the car's built-in sensors guide it to perpendicular and parallel parking spaces drivers must perform the task by hand.

Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization skills with a unique Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to founder William Osler Bentley. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to the founding father of the brand, William Osler bentley key fob programming.
